Exhorbitant chanrges for return Date change
 
Dear Etihad rep,

I am looking forward to get help from you as the Online phone customer service is not in a poistion to help me.

we are a family of 4 booked . we booked your online sale special for travel to India from Chicago almost 8 months back.

Now my son got admission to a prestigious high school, me and my son have to cut short our vacation and return on June 29th or 30th. YOur online reps are asking me to pay for date change more than a single one way fare. ( In this example $1500 for date change whereas one way fare if i buy from you it is $1200) .

When i bought teh fare it is clearly mentioned that there is a date change penalty of $200 , which i am ready to pay. But not this exorbitant fare.

Really appreciate if you can see our valid reasons and his mandatory high school admission orientation and do your best in getting date change without heavy penalty for us and alienating your guests.

I am 100% disappointed as Etihad has not responded with their offer for date change .

I think they should have called back and acknowledged if it is possible or not possible. I didnt expect this sort of service from their repl too.

Overall I am disappointed with Etihad and will think twice to book with them( In all probabbility I will almost Never book with them ) unless someone from their reservation team can do something with my pending return journey.
