Singapore is poor at customer loyalty

"Massive complaint about Singapore Airlines. Wish it hadn't come to this. I am gold member, spent 10 of thousands of dollars over the past 4 years in both business and leisure travel. I had one request to switch a destination on an economy flight - willing to pay a penalty fee or simply requested to have a credit (not a refund) they simply refused. Ticket can't be worth more than a few hundred dollars. They were fine with letting this loyal customer leave. Extremely cocky and no sense of loyalty. Who knew"

Fantastic conversation...

SQ: Sorry I can't help you. It's policy
Me: But its your policy.
SQ: It's airline policy
Me: I know...you are the airline.

Probably you were aware of the restrictions since you bought a non-flex ticket?

If Singapore should lift the terms for you, why should they not do it for everyone regardless af miles accumulation?

They could, and then we all would pay three times the cheapest fare because of the conditions.
