No service provided without asking for extra money
Our family booked flight tickets through Expedia from Boston to Cancun. When we tried to assign seats from aa website, it failed three times saying system failed. Then we called aa and your rep said we will be charged additional for assigning seats and we need to talk to Expedia. We called Expedia and they said aa blocked all the seats and they cannot help us too. We calledd aa the second time and talked to two reps and they cannot do anything without charging extra but told us we will get seats together before the flight since we have children with us. Today we got a VM from AA and ask us to call back. We did, and we end up with a call for almost 2 hrs with two reps. We finally got seats after we complained and really frustrated! I don't see any respect or service from AA! This is the most ridiculous experience with any airlines we traveled with. Our family travels a lot internationally and domestically. I now have a deep regret on our reservation with AA. We had bad experience before, but nothing comparing to this time with AA to just get seat assignments for tickets we already paided for and confirmed.
