Qatar Airways - Overbooking
 

Hi all. Below is my story.

On January 21 I returned from Goa(India) to Saint-Petersburg(Russia). I had a air ticket of Qatar Airlines from Goa to Moscow through Doha, and separately bought air-ticket of Rossiya Airlines from Moscow to Saint-Petersburg.
I successfully reached Doha and further I was told that I can't get on a plane to Moscow. Staff could not clearly explain me what was wrong but my seat was occupied by somebody. Latter I realized that there was a so called "Overbooking".
I was offered a ticket to Baku, which was 6 hours later, and then another one to Moscow. I told about my flight to Saint-Petersburg, which I would miss because of late departure to Moscow(22 00 instead of 13 35). A representative of Qatar Airlines assured me that they would manage this situation and buy another ticket to Saint-Petersburg. Finally I got the tickets and some papers which I should present to a representative of Qatar Airlines in Domodedovo airport(Moscow) in order to get ticket to Saint-Petersburg. Papers said It the flight should be provided by S7 airlines.
At 22 30 I reached Domodedovo(Moscow) and started looking for Qatar Airlines representatives. I checked everything, stand, office. I have found nobody there.
I asked a representative of S7 airlines about my ticket to Saint-Petersburg. They told me the ticket was not fully booked. Nobody paid for it and they can't help me. So finally I had to pay for this ticket(3500 roubles ~ 120$).
I reached Saint-Petersburg on 22 January at 2 30 am(Instead of 21 january 6 pm). My next day was ruined because of I did not get enough sleep and had to go at work early morning. And all this happened to me because QA have oversold tickets!

I wrote an e-mail with this story to QA. 2 weeks passed. No response. They just don't care.
