United Airlines is pathetic

Folks, Let me advise you to avoid flying United Airlines. They are a crappy airline and they have no regard whatsoever for their passengers. It is no wonder they are going bankrupt. Mike is spending the night at the airport in Denver because United cancelled his original flight in Sioux Falls and put him on a later flight which then caused him to miss his connecting flight to Missoula. They told him in Sioux Falls that they would get him to Denver - put him up in a Hotel and then get him out on the first flight in the morning which is not until 10:15am. He got to the airport in Denver and was told NOPE no hotel for you because they don't provide hotels as a result of weather related delays. Now they told him in Sioux Falls - his mom was there and heard it, the original delay was due to a problem with the plane. When I checked the flight info at 5pm on the United website it said maintenance delay. Now they are saying it was not maintenance related but was weather related. They claim the flight that was cancelled was coming from Denver to Sioux Falls and was unable to make it. Ironically though the flights from Sioux Falls to Denver could make it. Huh - the snow must fall differently when coming from Denver to Sioux Falls than it does when flying the other way. When I checked the United site at 5 it said the plane was coming from Midland TX. Either they are lying now or the website was wrong at 5pm. Either way - it is not hard to see why United is going bankrupt. They obviously have no interest in customer care. So just a word of warning - fly United at your own risk.

UAL is going bankrupt? I didn't hear about that. Tell me, right now UAL is trading at a higher pps than any US carrier except for ALK. Can you give us the benefit of your obvious insider knowledge about the UAL bankruptcy? Should I short UAL on Monday off Friday's $31.87 close or should I wait several days and open a short position off of a possibly higher price. Also, how soon will UAL begin trading under the more typical Q suffix of a stock in bankruptcy. I know that this has nothing to do with airline complaints, but this poster obviously has insider knowledge about an upcoming UAL bankruptcy announcement.
