Worst customer service ever - 6 months and no refund
 
Etihad have owed me over £1500 for 6 months now and I can't get anyone to acknowledge my complaint.

Last October I showed up for my flight to Australia where I was asked to show the credit card I had booked the flight on 7 months earlier. This account had since been cancelled, and I was never informed that I had to show it at check-in.

After incredibly rude service, I ended up buying new tickets, and was told my original ones would be refunded within 10 days. After being treated like absolute rubbish through the entire trip, and even being taken off the plane before leaving our stopover Abu Dhabi (the staff had given us the wrong boarding passes, let us on the plane, then took us off and finally after tears, arguments and pleading, let us back on again!).

Six months later, a ridiculous amount of phone calls and emails later, I still have not got my refund. It was sent to my closed credit card account (they wouldn't send it to another one) and my bank refused it. I have asked to speak to a supervisor over the phone but they won't let me. I have emailed the feedback address at least 6 times and no one is responding.

What else can I do?????

I would just give up. Go into the fetal position in a corner with the lights off. Maybe cry uncontrollably.
