Delta employees, loud, and disturbing

Flying Portland Maine to Atlanta yesterday:
We were seated near the back of the cabin, just in front of several Delta off duty fliers. They had the loudest conversations the entire flight. Many of their conversations were regarding the "slow", "stupid" and "ignorant" passengers they deal with "everyday". They shared stories of their delight in closing the door and stranding passengers, shaming passengers that misread their boarding passes, and their contempt of passengers that ask them "stupid" questions. (ie. gate directions at Hartsfield) Two+ hours of incredibly loud, obnoxious and offensive chatter! This is the way to treat paying:mad: customers?

Yes, this is exactly how they treat paying customers. I sometimes wonder if Delta run training courses of how to be obstructive, patronizing and obnoxious.

Yes, they do, Jim. I am profiting nicely from running the classes. I hardly have time to show contempt myself to passengers as I'm too busy showing the newbies and recurrently training the oldies.

It's hard being the Judge... Showing contempt for the posters on airline complaints, teaching airline employees to be patronising and being generally obnoxious must be exhausting. Sounds like you need a holiday! Thailand is lovely this time of the year!!

I was thinking a stop in England also. Try some new things too. Care to be my tour guide?? ;)

You would be most welcome Judge, but I can't guarantee I won't be Contemptuous, patronising and obnoxious.

So we'd be like twins?? I digress. Sorry, OP, for the thread hijack.
