Discourteous and arrogant flight crew
 

I was travelling with my 70 year old mother who lost her husband(my dad) about 2 weeks ago from Frankfurt to Montreal on June 26th and since we booked a week before travel unfortunately we did not get 2 seats together and did not order any special food in advance. The problem started while serving food and the crew brought the special order food before serving others. I'm a south Asian of Indian origin most of the special request food had East Indian sounding names the crew thought it was for us and when I said I did not order any special food they were very annoyed as they could not find any of the individuals who ordered special food in their seats(looks like a glitch in the system which identified the seat location incorrect in the list). First this lady crew member comes along asking our names and seat number in a rude and discourteous way not even bothering to listen what I was trying to say. Then another flight crew member a man who was comes along and is even more discourteous and rude then the lady earlier as he couldn't find the people in the special order food list in the seat numbers he had. He accused us of changing the seat and said he is going to bring in the vegetarian food for us from the special order without even bothering to listen. By then the lady crew member realized something was wrong with the list and asked us for our preference of food and I got vegetarian for my Mom and Chicken for me. By now the guy who went to get supposedly vegetarian food shows up with food and was ****** off we had food on the table and asked the lady crew member to remove it and replace it with the supposed vegetarian food which he brought which turned out to be chicken not sure whether he did this on purpose. I did not have a problem since I asked for chicken initially but my poor Mom realized it was meat and did not eat the food.
The Crew did not even have the courtesy to apologize and the other passengers beside me could not believe the crew were so rude the then they said it is "Air Canada" you are flying. Looks like it has a reputation for the wrong reasons. Is anybody who has the authority to make decisions listening or eventually want to see Air Canada go bankrupt. Guess what I will not fly on Air Canada again you just lost a International traveler.
