mishandled luggage
 

my wife and i were traveling from jamaica to Los Angeles on united airlines. we had one stop at houston where we had to claim our luggage, go through customs and re-check the bags for our final destinations. we had 2 bags and re-checked them at the same time. only one bag arrived in Los Angeles. united managed to put the other bag on a different flight. after traveling all day, we had to wait several hours at lax for the second bag to arrive. incompetence is the only word to describe united employees. we have experienced luggage problems with united more than any airlines.
