Delta - No Refund or Credit For Higher Cost To Me

Last week, I purchased 2 RT airline tickets on Delta. Today, during an announced sale, those same tickets (same route, dates/times, flight numbers, etc) are nearly $100 less than what I paid a few days ago. Delta's (typical) response (as it is to most things) was..."sorry, nothing we can do." Well, there WAS one thing they could do. Refund my (non-refundable) tickets, charge me a $200 change fee per ticket, and then sell the new ones to me at the lower price. <eye roll...> I wasn't looking for a refund or anything major other than a goodwill gesture credit in a voucher, miles, ....something. But...sorry...there's "nothing they can do." They could not care LESS about loyalty and customer perception!

So if the price were multiplied a week after you bought the tickets, you would call Delta and demand to pay a higher price?
