Reward booking and Wrong title
 

Hi,

I booked a ticket for my wife using the guest miles. I gave the correct Title - Mrs., selected Female and correct date of birth. But the booking has her title wrong as Mr.

Rest of the details such as First name, Last name and Date of Birth is correct. All flights are with Etihad. Since passport or visa does not have titles, do I need to worry ?

I have exactly the same issue. I remember giving the right details while making the booking but the titles for me and my husband have been swapped.

I called up Etihad and Jet-airways customer care multiple times and they say the title change cannot be made. They also said that title won't matter much as it is not mentioned in the passport.

I wish there was a way to make this minor correction before boarding the flight

Hi there,

We will not stop you form travelling for having the wrong Title on our ticket. You will need to ensure any visa or other travel documents are not affected by this, please check with the issuing authority.
