luggages damaged
I Jacquelyn Watts took an International Flight on United Airlines on August 31, 2013 from DFW to SJU. I would like to start off with I am very disppointed in the customer service I received from Jeff over the bag claims at DFW Airport. I explained to him that I have traveled enough to compare wear and tear of luggage, however I just purchased my Guess luggages on January 1, 2013 for the current trip and when I received my luggages in San Juan Puerto Rico they were ripped and wheel broke off and handled no longing operating. He advised me to look at that as normal wear and tear, his attitude toward my concerns was unacceptable. I tried to provide him with purchase information, he walked off as if I meant nothing as a customer. I will no longer be doing business where I feel I am not appreciated. I will be closing my credit card account and will no longer travel United if thats how service is conducted.

A) SJU is not an international destination from the U S
B) Are you sure you weren't flying on American Airlines? C) Airlines will generally not cover items like wheels and handles that are easily damaged. If you just purchased the bag, it might still be under warranty by the manufacturer. I wouldn't waste my time with an airline claim. |
