Stay away from LOT Polish Airlines - unsanitary plane

Recently I took flight on LOT Polish Airlines 787. When I sat down in my seat, it turns out it was wet with URINE. I ended in wet pants for next 9 hours, until I could get off the plane and change. The response from LOT - we can pay for your pants cleaning, and give you 3,000 frequent flier miles. I did not know whether I should laugh or cry at this ridiculous offer. Advice - stay away from LOT - obviously they are not about customer service.

Was there no other seat available on the flight?

By the time they changed the cushion and seatbelts, the damage was done.

once "the damage was done" what did you expect them to do?
How do you expect them to reasonably ensure each seat is dry for every passenger. I think they already check individual seats when the groom the aircraft - thus your seatbelts are crossed on each seat.
Be aggravated sure, but rather than spewing a nonsensical blanket statement how about what you felt should have been reasonably done.

If they cross the seat belts on each seat, which meets the statutory requirement to check the belts, surely they should spot a urine soaked seat. On the other hand, did the passenger not notice?

I think dry cleaning and maybe 10k miles might have been a better offer.

Burger,
Why don't you try spending 9 hours in my position before YOU START SPEWING your nonsense. I gave them a chance to resolve this problem privately, and received "blow-off" offer. And, yes, I expect a clean, sanitary plane to travel on.

You post on a public forum so what is the private resolution you sought?

You are whining for the sake of whining otherwise. Present a solution not a problem... follow that advice grasshopper and you too may be as successful as me one day

Burgers,
Save your "grasshopper" and "whining" comments for your high school buddies. I do not consider sharing my experience in public forum "whining". Nobody is forcing you to read the comments. I have reported you to this forum moderator as trolling for a fight here.

Goodness, this is the most entertaining exchange this site has seen in quite some time!
