What am I paying for?
I fly first class overseas one to two times a year with United. On the last flight, to and from Rome, on the outbound flight the remote controller for the entertainment system didn't work (its connecting cord visibly frayed) and the overhead light could not be controlled. On the return flight, once again the overhead light could not be controlled and halfway through the flight, the sound portion of my entertainment system shut down. Paying thousands of dollars per flight and being treated to these failures on a system which is required to ease the burden of hours in the air is unacceptable. Could someone from United contact me? I logged this complaint by email and am still waiting. Bruce Plyer
