Norwegian - dismissive and unhelpful to customers
 
I recently took a flight from Stavanger to London Gatwick. The flight was initally announced with 35 minutes delay (no reason given). An hour later, it showed one hour delay, and another hour later, they showed 2 hours delay on the board. At this point, there was still no staff at the gate and nobody had a clue what was going on. Then a member of staff arrived, and she had no idea what was happening either, or when we were likely to actually leave. Finally, the plane departed almost exactly 3 hours late. Norwegian lied about the delay saying it was only 2 hrs 44 minutes - whatever, they probably were afraid of the 3 hr compensation rule, and so falsified the flight log.
Amazingly, not only was there no information to any passengers until we were all finally on the plane, when they blamed lightning earlier in the day, but during the three hour wait, Norwegian didn't even have the common decency to offer any refreshments, not even water.

When I wrote to their customner service about this, I received a rather pathetic and bureaucratic response, basically saying they are not responsible.
Conclusion: Norwegian are cheap, but when things go wrong, they are pathetically useless, and clearly couldn't care less about what passengers think.

So sorry this happened to you. Similar situation for us on Tuesday evening from Gatwick to JFK with delay being 26 hours. Waiting to hear what they have to say back - no accommodations were made for this excessive delay.
