Ethiopian Airlines
 

I have travelled in Ethiopian Airlines on 26th December 2013. I had 5 checked -in Baggage. I was travelling from Addis Ababa to Khartoum. on the date of arrival I have not received any baggage. After week (7days) they had they could give 3 bags. and after 21 days they could locate one bag. And still now one bag is still missing.
coming to compensation, they are offering meagre USD220 that also in local currency. I am not local resident and I refused to accept compensation in local currency.
After that Ethiopian Airlines is stopped responding to my mails
is there anyway I put complaints in a higher forum
please help

Never again Ethiopian Airlines

Yesterday I came back from Maputo to Rome with Ethiopian Airlines. It was my first and last trip with Ethiopian Airlines. They cancelled several times the flight until the very last day and even then, when i arrived in Addis the flight had changed so i came a day earlier and there has been nobody to pick me up in Maputo. The way back was not better. They shifted the connecting flight from Addis to Rome forwared! So it was one day before i would arrive in Addis. I had to call them and explain the situation so they switched my flight. The plane have been very old with no TV on the seat before. In other airlines (I fly a lot) the economy class is even better then business class in Ethiopian Airlines.


This airline is cheap but next time I will rather pay 200$ more and take a serious airline. There is only one positive thing about Ethiopian Airlines: The flight attendends are really kind and nice and do what they can. But this can not change the fact that from Addis to Rome the old plane was horrible stinky so one could barely endure.


Sorry, but never again Ethiopian Arilines.
