Boarding For US Marine

I have to post this because of the lack of respect the employee with US Airways has for the US Marines. My brother was filing home this past Friday to surprise us. They called for active military and first class to board. My brother went to board the plane with his active military id and was turned away because he was not in uniform. He explained he is not allowed to travel in his uniform but the employee did not care raised his hands and sent him away. My brother was one the last people to board that plane. This is a disgrace to my brother and all US Marines!

As a vet I know what makes a good soldier, someone that listens and sweats the details. The boarding announcement is ".....active military in uniform..." If he can't travel in uniform he simply doesn't get the courtesy of early boarding - note this is a perk not a right.

As a vet I see no issue with this. Does say Starbucks or the DMV move you to the front of the line if you flash military ID? I see plenty of Marines traveling in uniform, but then again they are probably on official business, for which the perk was designed.
