Bad service; bad attitude
I complained to US Airways about being squeezed into 2/3 of my seat space by a very overweight seatmate, and requested a refund of 1/3 of the price I paid for the entire seat. I also commented about the person sitting in front of me who fully reclined his seat prior to take-off and never put it up....not for take-off, landing, or deplaning. Flight attendants said nothing to him. The airline's reply was that they have no responsibility for passenger behavior! Seriously? They denied my request for a partial refund and said "They will not be participating in any further discussions" on this matter. The next time I have to go somewhere - I think I'll drive!
