so unpleasant about stric policy
 

i just figured out my surname and lastname has switched.
i called to airline customer center and agency, all i heard is useless for this situation. they ask me to cancel the whoul flight and then rebook, but it was unrefundable. i was so frustrated and under stress because i cant afford to do that. so i googled and found out so many people are suffering from that tiny mistake. and i came here and some people got help from etihad represantative after that they could change their surname and lastname properly with 75$ extrat charge. but u know? some of them didnt get that help. is that all u can the etihad airline?? why does policy applied to people differetly, i think it is so unfair and dodgy. it was my first experience with ur airline, and it turned to disaster. i pm to u representative but u didnt reply as well... hope get reply as soon as possible.

We would like to clarify, the charges depend on the extent of the mistake in the name spelling. Sometimes, we unfortunately can't just change the name, as the amount of wrong letters is simply too high. We will reply to your message just now to assist you further.

Thanks for ur reply. But i already searched at this site. If u search the case u dealt with, u can figute out that everybody in same situation didnt being treated by same way. When can i know updates? Cheers
