As it stand today the return ticket from Mauritius to Reunion Island is $ 261, which comes to $ 1.1 per kilometer and this makes it one of the most expensive air ticket. The return ticket from Mauritius to Heathrow is about $ 0.1 per kilometer. Also lately there has ben a drastic fall in fuel prices and yet passengers has not gain anything from it. How can this be justified? thank you.

Small air craft, limited service to and from destination, aircraft has to cary less because must cary enough fuel to avoid fueling at destination and a hundred other factors add up to higher ticket prices and hopefully a small profit for the air line.
