Laptop damaged in EY 141 on 24 December,2016

I would like to inform you that during traveling from Karachi to Toronto on 23rd December 2016 via Abu Dhabi EY 141.During transit at Abu dhabi, Etihad airways staff took my hand carry and my laptop was in the hand carry I also mentioned this problem with the ground staff, but he did not listen to me and gave me surety that nothing would happened with your laptop. Unfortunately, when I received my hand carry from baggage belt on 24th December at Toronto airport my laptop does not work, that has broken internally.I have a lot of important data and saved (important files), please advise me I am facing difficult situation due to the irresponsible action of your staff at Abu Dhabi airport.
