Silent Customer Service Air Cote D'Ivoire
Good day Forum,
On the 20st of Feb 2017 Air Cote D'Ivoire was delayed by 2,5 hours from Bouake to Abidjan. This made us miss that same evening the connection to Brussels and furthermore the connection to Phnom Penh. Air Cote D'Ivoire put us up in a hotel in Abidjan and said they would take care of resceduling our onward flights.It was mentioned that they would also refund all costs related to the re-booking of (onward)flights. The next day we received a phonecall that ALL flights had been rebooked. On arrival at the airport it appeared that they only had rebooked our Brussels Airline tickets and that nothing was done about our flights to Phnom Penh. On arrival in Brussels early next morning it became clear that Thai Airways only had a flight leaving the following day and that we were seen as 'no-show' on our original flights. My travel partner from Ivory Coast had no Schengen visa and had to remain in the transit area for 24 hours while I rebooked our Thai Airways tickets. I have written several emails to customer service of Air Cote D'Ivoire and after 6 weeks I still haven't received a response!! I do realize that delays happen. What I do not understand that an airline just ignores emails written to them. And yes, I have the right email address. |
