Delta Canceled my connecting flight and did not pay for my hotel
 

When coming back from Madrid to New York to catch a Delta flight to Kansas City, my final destination, Delta cancelled my flight and rebooked me for the next day.

I tried to call Delta since I had to stay overnight, but the wait was more than 3 hours. Since it was late, I decided to book a hotel by myself and file a complaint with Delta later to receive a refund for the hotel.

The cancellation was not due to weather conditions

I did file the complaint (KMM72120902V35368L0KM) but never received a response. It's been 3 weeks since then.

I am a Delta frequent flier.
