Charged for Name change
 

I have been asked to pay 6833 rupees for name error.

It was technical fault in Etihad's website. I have been to many places but never faced such issue. I have been told I cannot board the flight if I don't change the name and for that I need to pay money. The invoice I received shows the name madhuri jaypal nainani. However, while check in, the name showed was Jaypal Nainani/Madhuri in their system which according to them was different than my passport. Jaypal is my middle name, it can be at any place - with given name or family name but they didn't listen to this and told me to give money else they can't let me board the flight for which I have been charged for. I am chasing them from last 2 days but none of them have replied.

Poor customer service. Rude staff at the airport. :mad:
