Unreliable Fare Quotes on Delta.com - What You See is Not What You End Up Paying (3x Times Higher)
 

I've been trying to book a trip on Delta.com which quotes a fare of $1229.51 throughout the booking process and finally when I click "Submit Payment" after entering all my personal and card details, it redirects me to a new page which quotes 3x times higher fares of the initially quoted $1229.51.

I tried re-booking but ended up with the same issue every time. I do not want to end up paying 3x times the fare just because to the airlines greediness for money. Customer care (404-715-2600) is being quite rude over this issue and have no response and are not providing any reason for this.
