Paying for BAD service

Delta succeeded very well at making a vacation unforgettable....unforgettably bad!!

It all begin when we missed our flight- under the 30 min check in time. Not bad, gonna happen to most, right? Well Delta was eager to quickly take advantage of this dilehma. They charged use another $360 to re-schedule another flight the next day stating it was the difference from ticket value. All in all making a one way trip from Houston, TX to Fresno, CA a $1k event for two passengers.

This was the head of the drama. So, one messes up and has to pay for their mistakes- forgiven. We were stranded in Houston, but come time for our next flight we were there 2 hrs early! But it didn't matter because DELTA'S flight was going to be 1.5 hours late!! We missed our connecting flight by 15 mins- which was another Delta flight. The crew offered no information as to what the status would be leaving us all blind with time-strapped schedules on connecting flights. Insteed we were told to "Go anyways and try to make the flight". Which meant running about .5 miles from gate B10 to E61.... upon arrival to be told- "Sorry you're flight left on time". No meal vouchers, de-stressed rates or any type of consolations. Just another DAMN ticket for another flight that left the following day.

Summary: Missed flight, had to pay $360 dollars for new tickets. Both connecting flights downgraded from a 747 w/ meal to a puddle-jumper w/ snack by Delta. Last jet had no air conditioning. No assistance or information offered when their flight showed up late- no organization what so ever. Finally, lack of remorse to anyone they left behind on connecting flights and not even the curstey to wait 15 mins for the other flights.

Delta is not worth your money!!

OK. First of all. Everyone does not miss flights. I have never and I know most of friends haven't. Your fault, not the airline.

Secondly, they were right to tell you to try to make the flight. Basically you can try to make it and then change your flight plans or you can not try. You should always try, you never know if the flight might get delayed.

Thirdly, there is no E61 in ATL.

Forth, Delta doesn't fly 747s.

Four strikes you are out. HaHA
