Bad Service - BA297 - July 18th 2023
 

I travelled from London to Chicago by BA297 on July 18th.
Firstly the flight was delayed by more that 4 hours.
Secondly the service was so bad.
1) The attendants would not help with overhead cabins. Neither would they respond to the call.
2) I did not get any blanket. I requested for a blanket from 4 different crew members. They would say they would bring it and never returned. My luck was good that a co-passenger saw my plight and gave me his blanket saying he feels hot and so does not require it
3) I was sneezing profusely and asked an attendant for facial tissue and was told that the dinner tray has a tissue and I can use it. I had to wait 35 minutes to blow my nose and was breathing from my mouth all this while. When the tray arrived 35 minutes later, it had a paper napkin and not a tissue.

I think the treatment was because I was dark skinned and non Britt/American
