I am disturbed to find out that Jetblue is now charging $40.00 each person to honor a lower fare. Why should we have to pay them in order to get a fare that's lower. I fly during peak times because I have small children and they price gauge during those weeks. I paid $800.00 each person roundtrip only to see they lower the price but they don't only lower it once they lower it 3 days in a row by $50.00. I think that it is unfair that I should have to pay that fee. I just called Wednesday night because the fare went down $50.00 per person and had to pay $120.00 to get the lower fare and ended up with only a $30.00 credit only to go on again last night and see they lowered it yet another $50.00 each person. So what now I have to pay again another $120.00 to get $30.00 back. That's ridiculous. I don't think that's honoring your loyal customers. It's basically saying well too bad you paid the higher fare we're going to take your money anyway.
