Flybe - free bonus flight-ring 0871 !!
 

I recently acquired a new Flybe credit card and have duly received a certificate for a free bonus flight as my reward-as promised. My complaint is that a very thorough search of the Flybe/rewards4all website failed to turn up promised further details , destinations etc . about this much vaunted free flight which incidentally cannot, rather unusually, be booked on line [WHY NOT ?] but only through an 0871 number, which as a point of principle I would not dream of using.
If the much adverised initial free flight is so ungenerously packaged then I for one will go no futher.
My certificate and my credit card have accordingly been binned

I also object to paying companies to call their customer services. You might find www.saynoto0870.com quite useful. Type in the number you have and it will give you a standard landline alternative number, which will often be included in your monthly calling plan. It is very helpful and surprisingly up to date.

Have you ever watched Watchdog? I don't think any of the airlines "free flight" if you take the credit card and book a single flight has been problem free. BMI Baby's was almost impossible to book, Ryanair are just crooks and now you are having the same problem with Flybe. They are just not worth the paper they are not even printed on.... endless fruitless calls to 0871 only to be told that the "computer says no" to every possible flight and destination combination.
