Gift cards are a rip-off against the elderly
On line, you can book Fort Lauderdale to White Plains non-refundable at a price of $538.80. If you use a JetBlue gift card, you are forced to call (800)-JETBLUE and pay over $700 for the identical reservation. Gift cards are a rip-off against the elderly whose children purchase gift cards for their parents to fly only to find out the fares are 20-30% higher.
The elderly are people living on a fixed income and are the least able to afford the rip-off scheme. Shame on JetBlue. DO NOT BUY JETBLUE GIFT CARDS. |
That sucks, I hate when I heard about the elderly being taken advantage of, I went to Jetblue web site to see if that was true and it was that you have to call them.
If you are a member of the AARP (I am) let them know about that, I am writing to AARP about it also. Let's see how JetBlue likes the power of AARP |
