Horrible Customer Service and Policies

I recently purchased a flight fromm Jet Blue and used the Paypal payment method to pay for my flight. After 3 or 4 days of being told to wait, no confirmation was sent to me and I was told by JetBlue they were having trouble processing PayPal payments and that I would need to pay with a credit card. I wanted to be assured I would not be overcharged as I do not keep thousands of dollars in my account at a time. After spending well over two hours on hold with the customer service reps who could not give me a straight answer, I was PROMISED by a supervisor that the Paypal payment had been cancelled and I could pay with my debit card.
Problem is they charged me twice, which took $770 out of my account instead of $385. I did not have this in my account and now I have no money until my next pay day, which is in two weeks.
I have spent a total of 5 hours on the phone within the last week, being passed around from representative to supervisor. All that they were willing to do to compensate me for my time, financial trouble, and aggravation was offer me a "sincere" apology and a $25 dollar credit toward using their crappy airline again. Their customer services agents were rude, not helpful, and told me I would have to wait 7 -10 days for my money, that they wrongly took out, to be placed back in my account. I find the whole situation absolutely ridiculous as they did not offer to adequately compensate me. I have now made it my mission to let as many people as possible know, that this airline has taken a steep decline and to use a better carrier for future trips.
