taken for a ride
 

i was on flight AC714 on July 29th. the flight was cancelled and rescheduoled several hours later due to a mechanical failure.

i had paid a change fee from AC716 to AC714 because my daughter and I had to get to NYC for a funeral. the flight finally left 3 hours after the original schedule departure.

i am not going to go into what the flight cost because of changes due to a death in my family. and the fact when asked about "bereavement" i was informed that airlines make the most money per ticket at these "special" times.

but i will fight the change fee for sure.

and by the way, i just flew AC to Beijing w/o TV panels working for myself and my family. AC was very sorry but....no consideration given.

i will avoid AC for as long as possible and fight the trmendous costs and the callousness of the employees.
