canceled flight

Our flight was canceled not due to weather or natural disaster it was due to low attendance on our flight. The the rest of us had to fight for the flights to the same location and let me tell you the workers not helpful at all just gave us attitude. No more continetnal for me southwest all the way...

Good choice, it seems. WN is probably the preferred US domestic carrier. Use them when you're able to and I'm sure things will go smoothly. If not, the service tends to be better.

Did the airline tell you it was due to low passenger load?

Southwest? YUCK. But anyway, it is stupid that they cancelled due to "low passenger numbers". Where are you all supposed to go, lol!

at least they admitted it was due to low passenger numbers, all i got was "oh the weather is making it unsafe to fly" So instead of going then we wait 5 hours, it pours non-stop for that time and now gets dark and apparently now it is safer to fly than 5 hours ago. Pathetic

Where did it say the airline admitted that? I worked for a major carrier in the U.S. for 20 years and not one flight I worked was ever canceled for low bookings. I've worked flights with 0 people on them. Truth is and no one believes it, that flights are not canceled for low numbers. The plane still has a rotation and a place to be next, as does the crew. Freight is booked and hauled along with mail and other items.
