AA Security Seized My Advantage Mileage !!
American airlines sent an email saying that I issued a ticket for someone other then a family member and they were putting my account on hold. Until I fill out a questionaire admitting I sold my miles. They said if I don't tell them who I sold my miles too. They would terminate my elte status membership! They said the only way I will get my membership privieges back is if I fill out this questionaire admitting I sold my miles.
I didn't even know you could sell you miles! Also is there a rule that says I can't issue a ticket in someone elses name other then a family member? I looked up the program rules and didn't see any such rule! What is American thinking? What is going on with American Airlines? I have been a loyal customer for many years and fly alot! I can't believe they would treat me this way! They told my friend who I issued the ticket for that he couldn't fly and he had to buy a full fare ticket! This is so embarrasing! How can American be so disgustingly rude and fraudulent? American airlines is now on my BLACK LIST FOREVER! I am very upset about this. Has anyone else had this problem with American? Should I file a Law Suit? Or should I just go to small claims court? Anyone with any ideas? |

Yes, I did, just last week.
Can we start a class-action lawsuit? Otherwise, you might have a good case by going to small claims court. Here in Houston, we can file up to a $4000 claim. However, if there is a way to contact ALL people who got the shaft, then we could try to get a class-action suit started. I would look at the following website. http://frequentflier.com/ffc-0711.htm It might be worthwhile to contact the law firm involved in the expired mileage lawsuit. Quote:
