Flight overbooked, then charged a $99.30 administrative fee!
 

Wow, Delta never ceases to amaze me (in a negative way). I bought 2 tickets for travelers from Liberia to the US. The flight was overbooked, and the travelers were charged $99.30 (each - cash) as an administrative fee to fly out 3 days later. On the phone, Delta later claimed that the flight was cancelled due to mechanical failures. However, both travelers told me that many people were denied boarding and that a full plane did indeed fly on time out of Monrovia on July 3. I was pleased, though, that Delta said they would refund the money. I hope that happens!

It's the delta way... Rip off customers and hope no one complains. If they do, stall and hope they go away. Eventually, you may get your money back, but you have to persist. Many delta employees are just liars.

I WILL persist. I now have an attorney working with me.
