us airways - ignorant baggage handlers
i paid for for 2 checkin baggages ....i had a small roll-on bag and a small computer bag .I was stopped as stepping on the plane and was told i couldnt take to roll-on bag on board due to the computer saying there wasnt any more overhead space for bags.
She didnt ask my destination city just grabbed my bag stuck a label on it and carried it away as i was protesting that i didnt want that .SHe did the same to another passenger . The us airways worker said the bag will be waiting for me in vegas.I got on board and saw there was actually overhead space above my seat . I made my unsatisfaction known to the stewardess on board . Well that flight was a transit flight going to las vegas and transferring to lax .Huge error on us airways part not asking what the destination city is for the boarding passengers she was taking carry bags from . Well when i got to las vegas i realized my bags were not at the transfer gate as i assumed .They went to bagage claim .This is a your ignorance not bothering asking what destination city i was going to . I spoke the woman at the counter gate and told her my bag needs to arrive at lax when i do .She said it will for sure. Well when I got to lax it wasnt there and also the other lady she took the bag from wasnt there too .So we both filed a missing bag complaint to us airways baggage center at lax. Due to the ignorance on us airways part I missed an important record label photoshoot because ill of my expensive custom made clothes were in that delayed bag. I still havent received the bag . I am furious and it has caused a loss of money and time to my job. So on us airways ignorance i am prepared to pursue this further to make up for loss time and damages. Please advice me further . I am waiting . |
us airways finally fond and delivered my bags ...at 1 am in the morning ... anyhow i sent formal complaint to them... just in the future if you are on a transit flight remember to tell attendant that you are in transit ... before they grab your bags ... anyhow no need to take this to small claims court ...just happy the bag is back :)
