BA has NO customer service
Unblievable!!!
BA loses my luggage and golf clubs while I travel first class BOI to SEA to LHR on a golf vacation and 2 days after arrival I have to drive from Drogheda Ireland back to Dublin to pick up my bags after I was assured they would be delivered to me at my hotel in Drogheda. I spend at least 4 hours over 2 1/2 days trying to track down my luggage much through the BA baggage claim call center in India run by incompetemts who lied to me , put me on hold and disconnected me as I attempted to find out where my bags were and when I could expect them. Bad enough 2 years earlier on the same trip, first class, same itinerary, same airline, it took 3 days after my arrival before my bags and were delivered to me. Agiain, 3 days of frustrating phone calls , misinformation , being disconnected and with NO compensation!!!. This time I tried to file a complaint with BA. No chance . Their website and systems are designed to lead customers down dead end roads in hopes you will give up. They will not publish or give out a direct phone line to customer service and their website complaint box only allows room for brief comments and times out quickly. When they do send an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your brief complaint any attempt to respond to their e-mail goes to an inactive file. Great system if you can get away with it. |
