Booking Scam
 

While booking at Continental the pricing would jump from an initial great fee up $30 for the same flight and because they track your search the price never will lowers from that computer. Flight searching caused it to jump twice in one sitting to be $60 or more each flight. Now, after New Year’s Day, I checked my desired flights at a friend’s house and it started at the cheaper price and started jumping up the same again. So I tried at work computer and was able to access my first cheaper rate because I knew what flight I wanted straight away. The computer system is scamming people because you never can get back to the cheapest initial price from the same computer if you are searching flights.

Wow.... If that is true, I woukd send evidence of this to the State Attorney Generals office. That sounds like an unfair pricing practice.... Has anyone else noticed this?

I just tried doing this. looking at costs of tickets to florida. the prices are the exact same every time i look.

I had an experience, with an online travel agency offering a certain fare.
In the middle of booking it kept giving ,me error messages.
I call them up (online TA) and the call Continental and transfer me, then a Continental agent (obviously offshore, because of the heavy accent) told me that fare was only available for another $100.
WHY is it that I saw that same fare offered at the same place online for days later and even booked it with another for the lower price ????
