Cebu Pacific and Manila Airport

The Security at Manila Airport took away my foldable umbrella. The umbrella was to shelter my 5 months old baby from the terminal building to the aircraft along the tarmac and vice versa, during hot and sunny weather and drizzle or rain.

I will agree if it was a non foldable umbrella, with pointed tip, which can be used to hurt someone. But a foldable umbrella? Come on!
Philippines, you will need to use your head to ascertain what is security risk and what is not. After all, the bags go through a security scanner and I am sure with the x-ray monitor, one can tell that it was just a regular foldable umbrella.

I have checked with IATA website, and umbrella is not listed as a dangerouse or restricted item.
