lied and decieved bad booking

I was on a return flight from Dallas to chicago to Detriot. Spirit airline booked a transfer from one plane to anther with a thirty min window in chicagowhich is impossible and not reasonable. IN dallas 19 of us wher told we would not make our flight in chago so we could wait 4 days or go to chagaco and leave the next day at 830pm, we were told no help in rooms or food would be offered, so i booked a room online, got to chicago and they gave distress vouchers to ppl I was un able to use mine since I already booked a room. I was lied to and it cost me a lot! the flight cost me twice what it was suppose too! along with a day lost at work! they claim the missed filght was related to weather in fact it was because it was booked on top of each other one plane was landing while the other was loading! dont use this airline its bad news!!!!!

So why did you accept their booking?

I have to agree with Gromit. I've flow to or through ORD 58 times over the last few years so I’ve seen firsthand how volume and weather can impact operations.

As you pointed out, a 30 minute connection is very tight. A delay outside of the airline’s control (most commonly weather) would prevent you from making your connection, and you’d be responsible for your own accommodations. If you felt that the 30 minute window was unreasonable, why did you purchase those tickets? I think you have a very valid reason to be upset—but it shouldn’t be in an airline complaint forum.

If you purchased chicken at the supermarket, and didn't cook it long enough, and got sick--would it be the supermarket's fault?
