What a terrible airline
Checked in at Orlando with wife and three young children and the disinterested AA woman allocated the seats all over the cabin, couldn't have put the family further apart individually if she'd tried. Seat screens on two of the seats didn't work, leg room non existent and staff aged and surly, reminded me o English buses. B.A. Flight on outgoing trip was fine AA obviously on a mission to free up seats by losing customers, I certainly won't use them again they are a shambles.

Couldn't agree more. Whilst far from perfect, BA is clearly superior AA in the area of customer service, and they undertake considerably greater efforts to monitor the performance of their employees.

American Airlines is the worst airline in the world
Nightmare airline. Their computer glitch screwed up our boarding passes, and we missed two standby flights. They want to charge a change fee to rebook a seat. Five hours later, no flight. And they are ride. No apology, no refund, just aggravation. Never again fly American.

Ditto - American is the Worst Airline
It took two online agents and another one at the airport ticket desk to fix the first online agent's mess. The first on-line agent "forgot" to charge us, so close to the day of travel we were unable to check in and our seat assignments disappeared. When we called again, they "fixed it" but we were told we couldn't get our seat assignments until we got to the airport. We get to the airport the day we are traveling and it seems it was only then that they discovered we hadn't been charged. All kinds of attitude from the ticket agent at the airport, like she was doing us the hugest favor fixing it for us!
Not to mention the attitude on board and the insufficient stock of purchasable food. Shameful! |
