I also object to paying companies to call their customer services. You might find www.saynoto0870.com quite useful. Type in the number you have and it will give you a standard landline alternative number, which will often be included in your monthly calling plan. It is very helpful and surprisingly up to date.

Have you ever watched Watchdog? I don't think any of the airlines "free flight" if you take the credit card and book a single flight has been problem free. BMI Baby's was almost impossible to book, Ryanair are just crooks and now you are having the same problem with Flybe. They are just not worth the paper they are not even printed on.... endless fruitless calls to 0871 only to be told that the "computer says no" to every possible flight and destination combination.
