now, im not sticking up for AA, but it very well could have been security that stole your stuff. once the bag is checked it goes through security, AA doesn't touch it. your son or you should have carried his eye glasses with him (since he needs them). AA customer service should have been more nice, and i'm glad you got your bags back.
