I'm confused...do you mean CO or AS is considered regional? CO has a much further reach than the US, Mexico and Hawaii. AS was regional until they started gradually expanding their network. Plus they are a traditional "hub and spoke" carrier. I think it's about ti,e the DOT re-defined them and consider them one of the legacies. They have, after all, been around for over 80 years.
