Default Rude Austin AA Counter Staff

My company (Austin-based office of a national consulting firm) is no longer flying AA out of Austin due to repeated rude, obnoxious, and just plain surly treatment by AA counter staff at ABIA.

We are all flying Southwest or JetBlue when possible. Or anything but AA.

Usually the problem is around check in. If E-check in is swamped, AA counter staff will berate passengers standing in line, for trying to check in with a human being.

Passengers are treated with surly lectures, rudeness. This morning's flight to Chicago no exception. When I confronted your staff on her horrible attitude, she leaned into my face/space and denied being rude, rudely.

Where did you get this Austin crowd? They are awful. We are a friendly TX town? They need to take a SW flight or JetBlue and see how what a different corporate culture looks like.

My sister in law is a western regional sales manager for y'all, I'll give her the details as well. I try to fly AA out of family loyalty to her, but no more.

You need to replace the counter supervisor in Austin. I don't think you can win our business back, we are going to great pains not to book on AA, but you may save some others that are sick of how they are treated in Austin.

I'd be glad to discuss further with you.

Thank you
