Airline vouchers issued for customer service issues are typically valid for one year. If the voucher was issued back in 2007 then it's expired. You could try writing a letter to Northwest and enclosing the expired voucher. Tell them it sat at the bottom of a desk drawer or something. They might issue a new voucher. It's worth a try anyway.
