Premium seat assignments
I purchased three seats on NWA flight 669 for 6 weeks from now, 5/11/08. I expected assigned seats, but this was denied. There are many unassigned seats in coach for the flight, but they are all reserved as "Premium assignments", which you can only get the day before, and if you pay extra for them!. This is a sleazy practice. I know of no other airline that is running this scam.
