I want you to remove the $39.95 charge from my Credit Card and cancel my Credit Card Immediately. I called 2 days after receiving the bill with this charge on it.

I do not wish to do business with a company that put charges on my credit card that I did not authorize.

I will be contacting my Better Business Bureau locally.

Thank you for writing to Spirit Airlines.

Our records show that you signed up for the paid $9 Fare Club membership as well as our Free Spirit Mastercard which comes with a complimentary membership.

As stated on our web site www.spiritair.com, “Annual fees are non-refundable, notwithstanding Member’s cancellation of membership in the Club”.

I have canceled your membership to the $9 Fare Club so that you will not be charged for the renewal in the future. As a courtesy we are awarding you with a $39.95 credit that can be used towards a future flight. The credit does expire by 11-09-2010, so please complete the reservation by that date.

When purchasing a reservation online and applying a Reservation Credit from a previous reservation, please make sure to click on “View & Apply Vouchers and Credits”.

Click on the “Reservation Credit” tab and enter the reservation number (N7BEWZ). The credit may be applied towards reservations for any of the passengers on the original reservation only.

Once done, you are able to proceed with your reservation by entering your credit card for the applicable amount due to complete your reservation.
