To me, this is not as clear cut as you seem to think. If I read the first paragraph, I would think it is clear. Annual membership costs $39.95. Then I read the second paragraph. That seems to suggest that if I "Apply today" for a Mastercard, I will become a complimentary member.. to me, complimentary means free.
I am not so sure Phx that it is a clear as you imply.
