If you suffer any consequential damages, eg. excess bank fees, costs of borrowing to cover the shortfall, JetBlue are fully responsible for these. Keep a record of all the costs, send a detailed claim to Jetblue demanding compensation and then file in small claims. You can recover your costs of filing a claim in addition. You will definitely WIN this case, JetBlue have no defence.
